You know what kids can identify these days? A thousand corporate logos. You know what most can’t identify? Ten plants or animals that live in their own backyard.
That’s a problem. But it’s also an opportunity—one we’re tackling with a backpack full of purpose.
We’re a mission-driven game studio dedicated to reconnecting kids with nature—one virtual trail at a time. Our flagship Roblox experience, Backpack Adventure, is an action-packed scavenger hunt that turns everyday gameplay into meaningful discovery. Kids explore real-world ecosystems, find and learn about animals, earn badges, and build curiosity that continues offline.
It’s part of a bigger goal: to grow a generation of kids who not only recognize the nature around them—but care enough to protect it. Because we believe what every ecologist and educator knows to be true—understanding leads to caring.
Why games? Why now?
The average kid spends over 44 hours a week on screens (can you relate?). And 74% of U.S. kids play video games. So instead of pushing against screen time, we’re channeling it. Backpack Adventure meets kids where they already are, on Roblox, with familiar mechanics, fun exploration, and multiplayer energy—but uses the platform to build nature literacy and a sense of environmental connection.
The response so far? Wild.

And this is just the beginning.
Backpack Adventure is growing—both in game and IRL. We’re developing new biomes, launching a companion line of Wild Cards, and partnering with publishers and nonprofits to expand our impact. Our upcoming Los Angeles release, the first of many regions, will enable kids to explore different corners of the world, discover native wildlife, and take part in community-building quests.
We’ve also got our sights set on an educational YouTube series, environmentally focused merch, and daily virtual quests that inspire kids to take action in their own communities.
We’re focused on gaming for good. With every badge earned, every animal found, and every small moment of connection, we’re helping kids to see the world a little more clearly—and to care about it a little more deeply.
